I never really planned on becoming a pet photographer. I took pictures of animals rescued from public shelters and put them on websites to help them find new homes. I took pictures that appeared on dozens of post cards and posters promoting animal rescue fundraisers. After taking thousands of pictures, I realized I had become pretty good at it. Friends started asking me to take pictures of their pets. Veterinarians commissioned me to do pictures for their lobbies. Much to my surprise, I had become a pet photographer.

Pet photography is still not a huge part of Sealander & Company's business. It is the most fun part of our business, however. We'd like it to grow.
